The Golf Committee understands we have more golfers wanting to participate in the holiday weekend 5-person scrambles than an 18 team shotgun start allows. We are trying a new format for the Labor Day tournament on Saturday 9/3 to include up to 7 additional teams!
The tournament will move to a tee-time format with teams teeing off every 10-minutes on hole #1. Teams are expected to keep a 10-minute per hole pace. The first 18 teams have their choice of tee time between 8am-10:50am, the remaining teams will be placed in the next available slot (11am then 11:10 etc.) with a max of 25 total teams allowed. Teams must pay the $50 entry fee in full before they are allowed to sign up. All players must pay their greens fees prior to their tee-time and be ready to play at the #1 tee box no later than 5 minutes before their tee-time. Each team returns their scorecard to the clubhouse staff and once the final team hands in their scorecard the winners will be determined and winning envelopes will be available at the clubhouse to pick up.
The golf course will be closed for recreational golf on 9/3/22 at 7:30am until the final tournament tee time, players on the course prior to 7:30am will be allowed to complete their round and the course will open once the final team has teed off. The course will be open after the last group tees off.
The sign-up sheet will be posted at the golf course on 8/20 when the clubhouse opens.
